The main aim of this project is to offer opportunities for ELA members' self development which they may not otherwise come across, for example by providing opportunities for ELA members with little or no experience to assist someone at an Employment Tribunal on a small pro bono case.
Chris Jeans QC, will offer some tips and encouragement on advocacy skills for those starting out in advocacy, followed by questions.
There will then follow drinks and a further chance to sign up for the project.
We are very pleased with the response from ELA members so far who have pledged their time to undertake pro bono work. But this is only the beginning. We encourage more ELA members to come forward.
You can put your name forward at any time by contacting us at 100days@elaweb.org.uk.
Full details about the project are on the ELA website here.
