There are three categories of ELA personal membership:
Judicial Members
Annual membership fee: £40
Members of the judiciary with experience in the practice of employment law in the British Isles.
Full Members
Annual membership fee: £80 (£20 for lawyers working for voluntary sector organisations
Qualified lawyers (including foreign lawyers) with two or more years' experience in employment law who are materially engaged in the provision of employment law services to clients in the British Isles.
Associate Members
Annual membership fee: £40
Trainee lawyers and qualified lawyers with less than two years' experience in employment law who are materially engaged in the provision of employment law services to clients in the British Isles.
EU lawyers who are fully qualified and who are materially engaged in the provision of employment law services to clients in another EU member state.
Qualified lawyers who are materially engaged in research of employment law or the academic or vocational teaching of employment law.
