PEN is a network of employment law professional support lawyers set up in 2001. We currently have around 80 members, representing around 50, national and regional firms.
PEN is open to all PSLs covering employment law. We have quarterly meetings in and an active email network. The meetings are intended to be a forum for discussion of technical legal issues as well as issues concerning the role of PSLs. There is no charge for membership, but we do ask that members from the larger firms host the occasional meeting.Members in Bristol have their own meetings, which feed into and out from the London meetings, and further regional meetings could be arranged if there are sufficient regional members.
We also liaise with ELA, providing input into the creation of new training courses, providing facilitators for ELA courses, inputting into consultations on legislation etc.If you are an employment PSL and are interested in coming along to a meeting, please e-mail Anna Henderson.
