You should remember that:
- ELA does not accredit members as being specialists in employment law. However, membership of ELA may help evidence an interest in and/or specialism in employment law;
- members of ELA are not regulated by us, but by their professional bodies (ELA does not check members’ qualifications. The Law Society’s ‘Find a Solicitor’ site (www.solicitors.lawsociety.org.uk) lists qualified solicitors);
- membership of ELA is neither a qualification nor a warrant of quality.
