ELA’s support for self-funding employment lawyers

ELA is keen to support employment lawyers who may have difficulty funding their membership and/or training, for example because they have lost their job and/or are unable to find work in the field, or when they are on or returning from an extended period of absence (maternity leave or sick leave) and need to access to training to get back up to speed.

Whether you are a member who is having to self-fund your training and having difficulty finding the necessary funds, or a non-member currently out of practice because you are unemployed, please get in touch with us to discuss how we can support you with free training and/or free membership of ELA so you can continue to access our resources.

This scheme is not intended to provide indefinite free access; but we hope it can provide a little assistance for those in the employment law profession who need support at this time.

Each application under this scheme will be assessed by the ELA ManCo membership sub-committee which consists of the following ManCo members:

Dan Pollard, ELA Secretary
Paul McFarlane, ELA Chair
Caspar Glyn KC, ELA Deputy Chair
