Independent Review of Administrative Law (IRAL): call for evidence

Date:
Thursday, September 10, 2020

The Independent Review of Administrative Law (IRAL) has published a call for evidence:

“Does judicial review strike the right balance between enabling citizens to challenge the lawfulness of government action and allowing the executive and local authorities to carry on the business of government?”

We would like to invite members who are experienced JR employment lawyers to apply to join the ELA working party who will draft ELA’s submissions. The working party will be chaired by David Widdowson, member of ELA’s L&P Committee. The deadline for submissions is 19 October, and ELA’s response will need to be in final form for internal sign-off a week before.

Work on this will start immediately so members applying will need to have availability between now and mid October.

Please reply by Monday 14 September, 12 noon using the email link below to volunteer for the IRAL call for evidence.
