As law firms plan for post-pandemic life, it seems clear that a shift to increased remote working is on the cards. But while remote working has benefits for many staff, it also has pitfalls for legal professionals and their supervisors. Join us for a webinar on 28 January 2021 which will look at the practical and regulatory implications for lawyers at all levels, from juniors at the start of their careers to team heads responsible for supervision.
We are delighted to be joined by Pearl Moses, the Head of Risk and Compliance at the Law Society and Lizzie Twigger, Senior Counsel at Slaughter and May, to talk through the career development, supervision and regulatory issues which are likely to arise with a shift to remote working and offer some practical solutions.
Topics to be covered include:
- How lawyers can develop their skills and careers in a remote working environment
- Responsibilities of supervisors
- Compliance and professional ethics issues which arise in a remote working context
Once you have booked, you will receive a confirmation email. An email containing the login details for the online event will be sent within 24 hours of the session. This online event can be accessed most easily on desktop and laptop computers using Chrome, Safari and Firefox browsers.
