This event has been organised by the ELA In-house Committee. This event is open only to ELA members who work in-house and is free to attend.

The past year has been difficult for all, but the unique challenges that have been faced by employment lawyers (remember when furlough was simply a word that people mistyped when they meant the final furlong?) has meant that the past year has been more difficult for you than for many.

If, over the past year, you have felt tired, unproductive, or disengaged and cynical, then you may be experiencing symptoms of burnout.

Burnout is an occupational phenomenon that arises when people who care work too hard, for too long, with too little care and reward.

Join us on Monday, the 26th of April at 4pm when Leah Steele will be talking to us about the symptoms of burnout, how to identify, manage and reverse it, and how you can help support yourself through the challenges to come.

Leah is a mentor and trainer, and founder of She is a former litigation solicitor who experienced her own issues with burnout on the job, and now helps individuals and businesses to manage their burnout risks and implement real, meaningful change.

The 60 minute session is intended to help you immediately identify issues of burnout around you, and to take action, without adding to your already overflowing to do list.

Once you have booked, you will receive an email containing the login details for the online event, please contact us if you have any queries.

Please note that there will not be an on-demand recording of this session available.
