Building on ELA’s in-house event, “Privilege: first principles, recent developments, and difficult issues” this webinar will explore the practical ways in which privilege can be protected and maintained in busy in-house environments.

The session will focus on:

  • How to define the client, and other practical steps to establish privilege;
  • Incorporating legal advice in board papers and internal communications;
  • The extent to which privilege can be maintained in day-to-day HR support;
  • Maintaining privilege in complex investigations and disputes.

In exploring these issues, the session will also touch on the differences between privilege in Scotland and England.

This event will be delivered via Zoom. There will be live Q&A and you may also submit your questions to us before the webinar here.
