This year’s ELA Annual Lecture will consider the key issues concerning sexual harassment in the workplace. We have drawn together a panel of expert speakers offering different perspectives on this topic, looking at: what is it about today’s workplaces which allows sexual harassment to occur; the legal and other barriers to complaining and how to address those; what best practice looks like in dealing with complaints; and the role of ELA and employment lawyers in the debate, including in relation to the recent controversy surrounding NDAs.

Chair: Jo Broadbent, Hogan Lovells International and Chair of ELA Training Committee

Panel:
Juliet Carp, Keystone Law and ELA Chair
Clare Murray, CM Murray LLP
Matthew Percival, Head of Employment, Confederation of British Industry
Elizabeth Prochaska, Legal Director, Equality and Human Rights Commission
Sam Smethers, Chief Executive, The Fawcett Society
