Sean Jones QC of 11 KBW has produced this webinar on Short Notice Advocacy specifically tailored to the Employment Tribunal Litigant in Person Scheme (ELIPS), our duty advocate scheme.  It will be of interest to ELA members who are interested in volunteering to undertake pro bono advocacy and advisory work either under the Employment Tribunal Litigant in Person Scheme (ELIPS), our duty advocate scheme,  or under our existing 100 Days Project . As well as covering general advocacy tips and do’s and don’ts, this webinar provides practical tips based on our experiences during the ELIPS pilot and an overview of the common legal issues which volunteers are likely to encounter.

Interested in volunteering for the ELIPS scheme?

You can download the Q&A document here, which gives details about how the scheme is run. Please email us if you would like to join our ‘volunteer bank’ for future rotas. The scheme is open to qualified solicitors and barristers with a minimum of 2 years PQE.
