What is a cookie?

We use cookies for statistics

We use cookies to monitor and analyse use of the website.  For example: which are the most popular articles and pages?  We use google analytics for this purpose.  This does not involve the collection of any personal data, and we cannot monitor the pages you personally have visited.

We use cookies for logins

If you log in, we use cookies to remember who you are between one page and the next.  If you tick the rememberme box on the login form, the login cookie will be saved for next time you log in.  Otherwise, the login cookie will be deleted when you close the browser.
