Attendees will learn about the various sporting tribunals that have jurisdiction to hear employment-related disputes and receive guidance on matters that should be considered before settling claims.

This session will be presented by Steven Flynn and Rehana Azib KC of 2 Temple Gardens.

Steven is noted as one of the top sports law juniors in the UK. He has a wealth of experience in dealing with employment-related disputes before the Courts and Employment Tribunal, as well as a myriad of sporting and arbitral bodies.

Rehana is listed as a leading silk in both employment and personal injury. She has considerable experience dealing with disciplinary investigations and claims in the employment and personal injury jurisdictions, including sports-related matters. She was on the Independent Investigation Panel for the Yorkshire County Cricket Club investigation of cricketer Azeem Rafiq’s allegations of bullying and institutional racism.
