This webinar is an initiative of ELA's Pro Bono Committee and is available only to those working for not for profit organisations.

We hope these webinars will facilitate more of those working in the sector to be able make an even greater contribution to access to justice. When watching each webinar, please be mindful that ELA and the individuals involved are providing guidance, this is not legal advice.

If you are an ELA member, you can book to attend this website by logging into your ELA account.
If you are not a member of ELA, please email ela [at] elaweb.org.uk to make your booking. You will need to provide the name of the organisation you work for.

As this event is only open to those working for not for profit organisations, any booking not associated to a not for profit organisation will be removed.

This session is intended as an ‘introduction to employment law,’ with a focus on employment status. This is not intended to be a deep-dive into each concept, but rather provide an overview of what advisors might come across when advising clients and will touch on:

  • Employment status
  • Discrimination
  • Whistleblowing
  • Dismissal of Employees

Fees

  • Free of charge for those in voluntary sector organisations

This webinar will be held on Zoom.

You will receive an email on Wednesday 13 March 2024 which will contain a unique link which will give you access.

The on-demand recording details will be sent to you on Thursday 14 March 2024 and will be available to view until 23:59 on Friday 22 March 2024 via Vimeo.
