Particular areas of interest or sector knowledge

I have a particular interest and expertise in employment and workplace mediations as the result of being a leading employment law barrister for many years. In addition to undertaking mediations through my Chambers, I am also a director of a workplace mediation business called Mediation Rescue, through which I have experience of undertaking mediations and facilitating 'difficult conversations' as well as assisting companies with the introduction of internal mediation processes. Through Mediation Rescue, I regularly co-mediate with other mediators, which is an especially useful model in workplace mediation. We are also happy to undertake mediations in English in other jurisdictions, but we have particular experience in Eire. I am a regular contributor to the Workplace Mediation Blog and write and speak widely on the topic of employment and workplace mediation.

Outside UK

Eire and any other jurisdictions where the mediation will be undertaken in English.

Training undertaken

I undertook my Civil and Commercial accreditation training first with the London School of Mediation followed by my Employment & Workplace training with Globis and then by my Community Mediation training with Mediation Buckinghamshire. Together with subsequent training in inter-generational mediation training from the College of Mediators, I have undertaken about 150 hours of mediation training. In addition, I undertake about 15-20 hours of continuing CPD per year
