Emma is a legal director (professional support lawyer) in the commercial employment team. She qualified as a solicitor in 2001, and has over 20 years’ experience advising on a wide range of employment disputes for both public and private sector employers. Emma advises clients on the technical aspects of employment law, but with a practical and commercial focus. She also advises on associated areas of law such as modern slavery reporting, anti-bribery policies, GDPR and health and safety. As a specialist professional support lawyer, Emma manages the employment team's value-added client services. A prolific writer, Emma, frequently has articles published in the HR press and contributes to an employment law textbook.
