Bodrul Amin is the founder and Principal Solicitor at Solidaire Solicitors.

Bodrul qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 and has since specialised in employment law. Bodrul has worked at one of the UK’s largest employment law firms, Thompsons Solicitors, where he acted for and advised members of the major trade unions including Unite, Unison, RMT, FBU, PCS, amongst many other major trade unions. Bodrul worked on the leading case of Ball v First Essex Buses Limited

Prior to working at Thompsons Solicitors, Bodrul was an Employment Adviser at the British Medical Association where he advised Doctors on a range of employment issues. Bodrul has also been a caseworker for the National Education Union where he supported teachers with a whole host of employment matters.

Bodrul has worked for an immigration specialist law firm in West London, and has also worked as a consultant solicitor with Taylor Rose TTKW and Setfords Solicitors.

Bodrul has experience advising both employees and employers on a range of employment law matters. He has experience in advising on unfair dismissal, redundancy, changes to terms and conditions, discrimination (including sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, disability, age and religion and belief) harassment and victimisation, whistleblowing, TUPE, equal pay, holiday pay and working time issues, national minimum wage, employee status and trade union related issues. Bodrul is also experienced in carrying out Employment Tribunal advocacy.

Bodrul has a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with settlement agreements. He has negotiated favourable exit packages for employees. As a former trade union solicitor, Bodrul really understands what your concerns are when you have been badly treated at work and how to help you get fair compensation.
