I am an employment lawyer with nearly 20 years’ experience in advising employers of all sizes, ranging from well-known global brands and multi-national corporations to fast-growth businesses and SMEs. I have significant experience across a range of sectors including technology, pharmaceuticals, media, retail and not-for-profit.

I am known for my straightforward approach to complex or business critical employment law issues, with particular expertise in helping employers with sensitive workplace disputes, grievance and disciplinary investigations, senior level recruitment and exits, bonus structures, TUPE and restrictive covenants.

Before joining Kilgannon & Partners in January 2024, I spent several years as Head of Employment at Taylor Vinters, successfully leading a large team of employment and immigration lawyers through the pandemic and a subsequent integration process, following Taylor Vinters’ merger with Mishcon de Reya. I am able to use this management experience to enhance the legal and strategic support I offer to clients.

I provide responsive, commercially valued input as a trusted business advisor, delivered in an approachable style without fuss or legal jargon. I will set out your options in any given scenario but pride myself on always providing a clear recommendation on what I consider to be the best course of action.

I also regularly support senior executives to negotiate settlement agreements and employment contracts, understand their post-termination restrictions when moving employers and resolve employment disputes.

I write and speak regularly on employment law and future of work issues, drawing on real-life practical examples to make complex employment law topics more accessible and improve understanding of how to manage strategic and operational HR issues in practice.

I am the author of a recently published book: “A Practical Guide to TUPE and Employee Transfers: Core Legal Principles, Tricky Issues and How It Really Works in Practice”.

I am a member of the Employment Law Association’s Training Committee.
