John is head of Employment at M&P Legal and has vast experience of dealing with all types of labour law matters. He has been advising clients for some 30 years in three different jurisdictions, the last 25 of which have been in the Isle of Man. His full profile is at https://www.mplegal.im/profiles/john-t-aycock

John is highly recommended by Legal 500 and Chambers directories for Isle of Man employment work and has attained Legal 500 Hall of Fame status for his recommendations. He retains his English Solicitor-Advocate qualification and is therefore able to deal with Settlement Agreement work as a Relevant Independent Advisor. John has featured in some large employment cases in the Isle of Man, including acting for the Government in a multi-claimant test case, and regularly advises on multiple high level settlements for senior managers and employers, provides general day to day employment advice for local employers and liaises with legislators as to new Manx employment statutes. He is a frequent contributor to local media on labour law topics and has regularly been a speaker at seminars.

John understands both English and Manx employment law and is always happy to have a chat about the differences for those not familiar with the Isle of Man position - it differs in some important ways from British labour law.
