I qualified as a solicitor in 2004, having previously taught business studies and ran classes for adults with learning difficulties. I believe that my former work outside the law adds a useful dimension and enables me to quickly put clients at ease.
I represent both employers and employees on a whole host of employment issues, this duality ensures that I always look at the issues from both viewpoints.
In my work representing employers, I act for many local companies as well as some major national companies on a whole host of employment issues. I deliver training and also run in-house employment clinics for senior management teams.
I also advise employees who are experiencing workplace problems on all aspects of employment law.

I am a non-executive director of gtd healthcare which is a not-for-profit, values driven organisation which is passionate about providing the best quality care for its patient population in the North West of England.
I am also a non-executive director of Upturn which is a social enterprise company limited by guarantee that assists individuals, public, private and third sector organisations and business to fulfil their potential.
Along with colleagues at Pearsons I volunteer at Maggie's in Oldham which is a centre offering practical, emotional and social support for cancer sufferers located in the grounds of the Royal Oldham Hospital.
