I am Head of the Employment & Business Immigration team at Cleaver Fulton Rankin Solicitors in Belfast. I am dual qualified in Northern Ireland and England & Wales with over 25 years experience in employment law and discrimination law. I'm a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development having obtained the Diploma in Personnel Management from Queens University Belfast. The CFR- HR team offers bespoke HR consultancy advice and support to a wide range of SME employers and also regularly provides training on a range of legal topics including specialised eLearning on a variety of topics including GDPR, IT Security and Equality law. I act for a large number of public, private and third sector employers covering employment, education and charity law matters. I am experienced in all aspects of equality and discrimination law, restraint of trade, employee relations, unfair dismissal, disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancy, executive severance packages and compromise agreements, health and safety issues, social media issues, TUPE, immigration, data protection and freedom of information. I take a particular interest in Industrial Tribunal and Fair Employment Tribunal cases and work with clients located in GB as well as Northern Ireland and elsewhere.
